Mljet Island Boat Trip
An island paradiseMljet is at a 45-minute speedboat distance from Dubrovnik towards the island of Korčula, passing by the Elaphite Islands. Its National Park is situated in the western part and takes ca. one third of the island. Its greatest peculiarity are two salt-water lakes: the Great and the Small Lake. However, Mljet abounds in other natural wonders as well: one of them is a tiny island called Melita (Mljet) situated in the middle of the Great Lake, with the remnants of a 12 th - century Benedictine monastery of Saint Mary.
The island of Mljet is also famous for being the greenest island in all of the Adriatic. During this private tour, we will take you to the National Park “Mljet”, where you can walk around or rent a bicycle to explore the Great and the Small Lake. Our boats are not allowed to enter the lake area, but you can rent some owned by the locals in order to visit the small island with its Benedictine monastery.
On the way back, you can visit various small villages and other lovely spots in order to enjoy peace, silence, and the colours of the sea, which are said to be unique to the island of Mljet.
Later on, you can visit the Pelješac peninsula or some other spots on the Elaphite Islands, or any other place you would like to see while cruising around. Your skipper will find the best spots and create an itinerary that will cater to your wishes.
